C osí egli ha mandato a compimento le sue parole che aveva pronunciato contro di noi e contro i nostri giudici che ci hanno governato, facendo venire su di noi una grande calamità, perché sotto tutto il cielo non è mai stato fatto nulla di simile a ciò che è stato fatto a Gerusalemme.

Thus He has confirmed His words which He had spoken against us and against our rulers who ruled us, to bring on us great calamity; for under the whole heaven there has not been done anything like what was done to Jerusalem.
