A llora il re diede l'ordine e Daniele fu portato via e gettato nella fossa dei leoni. Ma il re parlò a Daniele e gli disse: «Il tuo Dio, che tu servi del continuo, sarà egli stesso a liberarti».

Then the king gave orders, and Daniel was brought in and cast into the lions’ den. The king spoke and said to Daniel, “ Your God whom you constantly serve will Himself deliver you.”
