O ra hanno fatto venire alla mia presenza i savi e gli astrologi perché leggessero questa scritta e me ne facessero conoscere l'interpretazione ma non sono stati capaci di darmi l'interpretazione della cosa.

Now the wise men, the astrologers, have been brought in before me, that they should read this writing and make known to me its interpretation, but they could not give the interpretation of the thing.
