A llora Nebukadnetsar fu ripieno di furore e l'espressione del suo volto mutò nei riguardi di Shadrak, Meshak e Abednego. Riprendendo la parola comandò di riscaldare la fornace sette volte piú di quanto si soleva riscaldarla.

Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. He spoke, and commanded that they should heat the furnace seven times more than it was wont to be heated.
