P erciò di' alla casa d'Israele: Cosí dice il Signore, l'Eterno: «Io agisco cosí non a motivo di voi, o casa d'Israele, ma per amore del mio santo nome, che voi avete profanato fra le nazioni dove siete andati.

Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus hath the Lord GOD said: I do not do this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for my holy name’s sake, which ye have profaned among the Gentiles, where ye went.
