E cco una voce: è il grido della figlia del mio popolo da terra lontana: «Non è forse l'Eterno in Sion? Non è il suo re in mezzo a lei?». «Perché mi hanno provocato ad ira con le loro immagini scolpite e con idoli stranieri?».

Behold the cry of the daughter of my people because of those who dwell in a far country: Is not the Lord in Zion? Is not her King in her? Why have they provoked Me to anger with their carved images and with foreign idols?
