m entre l'esercito del re di Babilonia combatteva contro Gerusalemme e contro tutte le città di Giuda che ancora rimanevano, cioè contro Lakish e Azekah, che erano le uniche città fortificate rimaste fra le città di Giuda.

when the king of Babylon's army was fighting against Jerusalem, and against all the cities of Judah that were left, against Lachish and against Azekah; for these alone remained of the cities of Judah as fortified cities.
