E ssi entrarono e ne presero possesso, ma non hanno ubbidito alla tua voce e non hanno camminato nella tua legge; non hanno fatto tutto ciò che avevi comandato loro di fare; perciò tu hai fatto venire su di loro tutta questa calamità.

And they entered and took possession of it, but they obeyed not Your voice, nor walked in Your law; they have done nothing of all that You commanded them to do. Therefore You have caused all this evil to come upon them.
