C orichiamoci nella nostra vergogna e ci ricopra la nostra ignominia, perché abbiamo peccato contro l'Eterno il nostro DIO, noi e i nostri padri, dalla nostra giovinezza fino a questo giorno e non abbiamo dato ascolto alla voce dell'Eterno, il nostro DIO».

Let us lie down in our shame, and let our humiliation cover us; for we have sinned against the Lord our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even to this day. And we have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God.”
