D i' loro dunque questa parola: «Versino lacrime i miei occhi giorno e notte senza smettere, perché la vergine figlia del mio popolo è stata colpita da una grande calamità, da una ferita profonda.

And thou hast said unto them this word: Tears come down mine eyes night and day, And they do not cease, For, a great breach, Broken hath been the virgin daughter of my people, A very grievous stroke.
