( 09-3) Poiché tu hai spezzato il giogo che gravava su di lui, il bastone sulle sue spalle e la verga di chi l'opprimeva, come nel giorno di Madian.

For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.
