C hi ha abbandonato Giacobbe al saccheggio e Israele, ai predoni? Non è forse stato l'Eterno, contro il quale abbiamo peccato? Essi infatti non hanno voluto camminare nelle sue vie e non hanno ubbidito alla sua legge.

Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? Did not Jehovah, he against whom we have sinned? And they would not walk in his ways, neither did they hearken unto his law.
