P erciò cosí dice l'Eterno contro il re di Assiria: «Egli non entrerà in questa città né vi lancerà alcuna freccia, non le verrà davanti con scudi né costruirà contro di essa alcun terrapieno.

“Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the king of Assyria: ‘He shall not come into this city, Nor shoot an arrow there, Nor come before it with shield, Nor build a siege mound against it.
