P erciò cosí dice il Signore, l'Eterno degli eserciti: «O popolo mio, che abiti in Sion, non temere l'Assiro, che ti percuote con la verga e alza il suo bastone contro di te, come fece l'Egitto.

Therefore thus says the Lord, the Lord of hosts, O My people who dwell in Zion, do not be afraid of the Assyrian, who smites you with a rod and lifts up his staff against you, as Egypt did.
