A lziamoci presto al mattino per andare nelle vigne e per vedere se la vite ha messo i germogli e i suoi fiori sono sbocciati, e se i melograni sono in fiore. Là ti darò il mio amore.

Let us get up early to the vineyards; Let us see if the vine has budded, Whether the grape blossoms are open, And the pomegranates are in bloom. There I will give you my love.
