C ome un melo fra gli alberi del bosco, cosí è il mio diletto fra i giovani. Ho grandemente desiderato di stare alla sua ombra e là mi sono seduta, e il suo frutto era dolce al mio palato.

¶ As the apple tree among the trees of the wild, so is my beloved among the sons. I desired to sit under his shadow, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.
