E d essi fecero così, Aaronne stese la sua mano col suo bastone, percosse la polvere della terra e vi furono zanzare sugli uomini e sugli animali; tutta la polvere della terra diventò zanzare in tutto il paese d'Egitto.

And they did so; and Aaron stretched out his hand with his staff, and smote the dust of the earth, and there arose gnats on man and on beast: all the dust of the land became gnats throughout the land of Egypt.
