M osè dunque tagliò due tavole di pietra, come le prime; si alzò al mattino presto e salì sul monte Sinai come l'Eterno gli aveva comandato, e prese in mano le due tavole di pietra.

So Moses cut two pieces of stone like the first ones. Then he got up early in the morning and went up on Mount Sinai, as the Lord told him. And he took the two pieces of stone in his hand.
