Q uando dunque l'Eterno ti avrà fatto entrare nel paese dei Cananei, degli Hittei, degli Amorei, degli Hivvei e dei Gebusei che ha giurato ai tuoi padri di darti, paese dove scorre latte e miele, osserverai questo rito in questo mese.

And when the Lord brings you into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Hivites, and Jebusites, which He promised and swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, you shall keep this service in this month.
