D avanti a te ho riconosciuto il mio peccato, non ho coperto la mia iniquità. Ho detto: «Confesserò le mie trasgressioni all'Eterno», e tu hai perdonato l'iniquità del mio peccato. (Sela)

I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity I covered not; I said, I will confess my transgressions unto Jehovah, and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
