E cco, come gli occhi dei servi sono rivolti alla mano dei loro padroni e gli occhi della serva alla mano della sua padrona, cosí i nostri occhi, sono rivolti all'eterno, DIO nostro, finché egli abbia pietà di noi.

Behold, as the eyes of slaves look unto the hand of their masters and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress, so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until he shall have mercy upon us.
