P er questo i Giudei della campagna che abitano in città senza mura fanno del quattordicesimo giorno del mese di Adar un giorno di gioia, di banchetti e di festa, e in cui si mandano regali gli uni agli altri.

Therefore the Jews of the villages, who dwell in the unwalled towns, make the fourteenth day of the month of Adar a day of gladness and feasting, a holiday, and a day for sending choice portions to one another.
