H aman raccontò a sua moglie Zeresh e a tutti i suoi amici tutto ciò che gli era accaduto. Allora i suoi saggi e sua moglie Zeresh gli dissero: «Se Mardocheo davanti al quale tu hai cominciato a cadere è della stirpe dei Giudei, tu non riuscirai a vincere contro di lui, ma cadrai completamente davanti a lui».

and Haman recounteth to Zeresh his wife, and to all his friends, all that hath met him, and his wise men say to him, and Zeresh his wife, `If Mordecai of the seed of the Jews, before whom thou hast begun to fall, thou art not able for him, but dost certainly fall before him.'
