H aman prese dunque la veste e il cavallo, rivestí della veste Mardocheo e lo condusse a cavallo per le vie della città, proclamando davanti a lui: «Cosí si fa all'uomo che il re vuole onorare!».

Then took Haman the apparel and the horse, and arrayed Mordecai, and brought him on horseback through the street of the city, and proclaimed before him, Thus shall it be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honour.
