R imangano qui perciò i nostri capi al posto dell'intera assemblea e tutti quelli che nelle nostre città hanno sposato donne straniere vengano in tempi determinati assieme agli anziani e ai giudici di ogni città, finché non sia allontanata da noi l'ardente ira del nostro DIO a motivo di questa cosa.

Let our leaders speak for all the people. Then let all those in our cities who have married strange wives come at certain times, together with the leaders and judges of each city. Let this be done until the anger of our God, because of this sin, is turned away from us.”
