Q uando la regina di Sceba sentí parlare della fama di Salomone venne a Gerusalemme per mettere alla prova Salomone con difficili domande, accompagnata da un grandissimo seguito, con cammelli carichi di aromi e con una grande quantità di oro e di pietre preziose: essa andò da Salomone e parlò con lui di tutto ciò che aveva in cuore.

Now when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to Jerusalem to test Solomon with hard questions, having a very great retinue, camels that bore spices, gold in abundance, and precious stones; and when she came to Solomon, she spoke with him about all that was in her heart.
