O r Salomone fece salire la figlia del Faraone dalla città di Davide alla casa che aveva costruito per lei, perché pensava: «Mia moglie non deve abitare nella casa di Davide re d'Israele, perchè i luoghi dove è entrata l'arca dell'Eterno sono santi»

Then Solomon brought Pharaoh’s daughter up from the city of David to the house he had built for her. For he said, “My wife should not live in the house of David king of Israel. Because the places are holy where the special box of the Lord has come.”
