T utti i figli d'Israele, quando videro il fuoco scendere e la gloria dell'Eterno posarsi sul tempio, si prostrarono con la faccia a terra sul pavimento adorarono e lodarono l'Eterno, «perché è buono, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno».

All the children of Israel looked on, when the fire came down, and Yahweh’s glory was on the house; and they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground on the pavement, and worshiped, and gave thanks to Yahweh, saying, “For he is good; for his loving kindness endures for ever.”
