C osí l'Eterno ha adempiuto la parola che aveva pronunciato, e io ho preso il posto di Davide mio padre e mi sono seduto sul trono d'Israele, come l'Eterno aveva promesso, e ho costruito il tempio al nome dell'Eterno, il DIO d'Israele.

Now the Lord has fulfilled His word which He spoke; for I have risen in the place of my father David and sit on the throne of Israel, as the Lord promised, and have built the house for the name of the Lord, the God of Israel.
