G eremia compose un lamento su Giosia, tutti i cantori e le cantanti nei loro lamenti hanno parlato di Giosia fino al giorno d'oggi; e questi sono divenuti un'usanza in Israele; ed ecco, essi sono scritti nei Lamenti.

Jeremiah gave a lament for Josiah, and all the singing men and women have spoken of Josiah in their laments to this day. They made them an ordinance in Israel; behold, they are written in the Laments.
