« Andate a consultare l'Eterno per me e per quelli che sono rimasti in Israele e in Giuda, circa le parole del libro, che è stato trovato; grande infatti è l'ira dell'Eterno che si è riversata su di noi, perché i nostri padri non hanno osservato la parola dell'Eterno, agendo interamente secondo quanto è scritto in questo libro».

`Go, seek Jehovah for me, and for him who is left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book that is found, for great the fury of Jehovah that is poured on us, because that our fathers kept not the word of Jehovah, to do according to all that is written on this book.'
