H ilkiah prese allora la parola e disse al segretario Shafan: «Ho trovato nella casa dell'Eterno il libro della legge». Quindi Hilkiah diede il libro a Shafan.

Hilkiah responded and said to Shaphan the scribe, “I have found the book of the law in the house of the Lord.” And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan.
