F ece pure ricercare Achaziah e lo catturarono (egli si era nascosto in Samaria); lo condussero quindi da Jehu che lo uccise. Poi lo seppellirono, perché dicevano: «E' figlio di Giosafat, che cercava l'Eterno con tutto il suo cuore». Cosí nella casa di Achaziah non rimase piú alcuno che fosse in grado di regnare.

And he sought Ahaziah; and they caught him (for he had hid himself in Samaria), and brought him to Jehu, and slew him; and they buried him, for they said, He is a son of Jehoshaphat, who sought Jehovah with all his heart. And in the house of Ahaziah there was no one who was able to the kingdom.
