Q uesti erano i cantori, capi delle case paterne dei Leviti, che abitavano nelle stanze del tempio; essi erano liberi da ogni altro servizio, perché erano impegnati nel loro lavoro giorno e notte.

And these are the singers, heads of fathers' houses of the Levites, who dwelt in the chambers and were free from other service; for they were employed in their work day and night.
