C osí i tre si aprirono un varco attraverso il campo filisteo e attinsero l'acqua dal pozzo di Betlemme che era alla porta; quindi la presero e la portarono a Davide. Ma Davide non ne volle bere, ma la versò in libazione, davanti all'Eterno.
