O r Ghehazi li aveva preceduti e aveva posto il bastone sulla faccia del fanciullo, ma non ci fu né voce né risposta. Perciò egli tornò incontro ad Eliseo e gli riferí la cosa, dicendo: «Il fanciullo non si è svegliato».

And Gehazi passed on before them, and laid the staff upon the face of the lad; but there was neither voice, nor sign of attention. And he returned to meet him, and told him saying, The lad is not awaked.
