I l settimo anno Jehoiada mandò a chiamare i capi di centinaia delle guardie del corpo e delle guardie e li fece venire presso di sé nella casa dell'Eterno; egli stipulò con loro un patto, li fece giurare nella casa dell'Eterno e mostrò loro il figlio del re.

In the seventh year, Jehoiada sent for the captains of hundreds, men who watch over the king and the soldiers. He brought them into the house of the Lord, and made an agreement with them. He had them make a promise in the house of the Lord. Then he showed them the king’s son.
