P erciò il prefetto del palazzo, il governatore della città, gli anziani e i tutori dei figli di Achab mandarono a dire a Jehu: «Noi siamo tuoi servi e faremo tutto quello che ci ordinerai; non eleggeremo re nessuno; fa' ciò che meglio ti pare»

So the head man of the house, the head man of the city, the leaders, and those who took care of the children, sent word to Jehu. They said, “We are your servants. We will do all that you say. We will not make any man king. Do what is good in your eyes.”
