« Tu sai che mio padre Davide non ha potuto edificare un tempio al nome dell'Eterno, il suo DIO, a motivo delle guerre mosse contro di lui da tutte le parti, finche l'Eterno non pose i suoi nemici sotto la pianta dei suoi piedi.

Thou knowest how David, my father, could not build a house unto the name of the LORD his God, for the wars which were about him on every side, until the LORD put his enemies under the soles of his feet.
