Q uindi il re diede ordine a Benaiah, figlio di Jehoiada, che uscì e colpí Scimei; e questi morí. Cosí rimase saldo il regno nelle mani di Salomone.

So the king told Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and he went out and killed Shimei. The nation was put under the rule of Solomon.
