A llora Elia si avvicinò a tutto il popolo e disse: «Fino a quando tentennerete fra due opinioni? Se l'Eterno è DIO, seguitelo; ma se invece lo è Baal, seguite lui». Il popolo non rispose parola.

And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.
