E lia, il Tishbita, uno degli abitanti di Galaad disse ad Achab: «Com'è vero che vive l'Eterno, il DIO d'Israele, alla cui presenza io sto, non ci sarà né rugiada né pioggia in questi anni, se non alla mia parola».

And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the sojourners of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As Jehovah, the God of Israel, liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.
