A chab, figlio di Omri, iniziò a regnare su Israele l'anno trentottesimo di Asa, re di Giuda; e Achab, figlio di Omri, regnò in Samaria su Israele per ventidue anni.

Omri’s son Ahab became king of Israel in the thirty-eighth year of Asa king of Judah. He ruled over Israel in Samaria for twenty-two years.
