Q uando tutto Israele vide che il re non gli dava ascolto, rispose al re, dicendo: «Che parte abbiamo noi con Davide? Non abbiamo alcuna eredità col figlio di Isai! Alle tue tende, o Israele! Ora provvedi alla tua casa o Davide!». Cosí Israele andò alle sue tende.

And all Israel saw that the king hearkened not to them; and the people answered the king saying, What portion have we in David? And no inheritance in the son of Jesse: To your tents, O Israel! Now see to thine own house, David! And Israel went to their tents.
