C osí Davide andò a Baal-Peratsim, dove li sconfisse, e disse: «L'Eterno ha aperto un varco tra i miei nemici davanti a me, come un varco aperto dalle acque». Per questo chiamò quel luogo: Baal-Peratsim.

David came to Baal Perazim, and David struck them there. Then he said, “Yahweh has broken my enemies before me, like the breach of waters.” Therefore he called the name of that place Baal Perazim.
