Q uando Davide vide l'angelo che colpiva il popolo, disse all'Eterno: «Ecco, io ho peccato, io ho agito iniquamente, ma queste pecore che hanno fatto? La tua mano perciò si volga contro di me e contro la casa di mio padre!».

When David saw the angel who was smiting the people, he spoke to the Lord and said, Behold, I have sinned and I have done wickedly; but these sheep, what have they done? Let Your hand, I pray You, be against me and against my father’s house.
