A llora il re si levò e si pose a sedere alla porta; e fu dato l'annunzio a tutto il popolo, dicendo: «Ecco il re sta seduto alla porta». Cosí tutto il popolo venne alla presenza del re. Intanto quei d'Israele erano fuggiti ciascuno alla sua tenda.

Then the king arose, and sat in the gate. And they told all the people, saying, Behold, the king is sitting in the gate. And all the people came before the king. Now Israel had fled every man to his tent.
