P oi Absalom s'imbattè nella gente di Davide. Absalom cavalcava un mulo; il mulo entrò sotto i fitti rami di una grande quercia e il capo di Absalom rimase impigliato nella quercia, e cosí rimase sospeso fra cielo e terra; mentre il mulo che era sotto di lui passava oltre.

Absalom happened to meet David’s servants. Absalom was riding on his mule, and the mule went under the thick boughs of a great oak, and his head caught hold of the oak, and he was taken up between the sky and earth; and the mule that was under him went on.
