I l re diede quest'ordine a Joab, a Abishai e a Ittai: «Per amor mio, trattate con riguardo il giovane Absalom!». Tutto il popolo udí quando il re diede a tutti i capitani quest'ordine nei confronti di Absalom.

and the king chargeth Joab, and Abishai, and Ittai, saying, `Gently -- for me, for the youth, for Absalom;' and all the people heard in the king's charging all the heads concerning Absalom.
