H ushai soggiunse: «Tu conosci tuo padre e i suoi uomini e sai che sono uomini valorosi e che sono esacerbati come un'orsa privata dei figli nella campagna; inoltre tuo padre è un uomo di guerra e non passerà la notte col popolo.

For, said Hushai, you know your father and his men, that they are mighty men, and they are embittered and enraged like a bear robbed of her whelps in the field. And your father is a man of war, and will not lodge with the people.
